With a diverse academic background including a B.A., B.Eng, M.Eng, MBA, B.Sc, and a forthcoming M.Sc, along with Chartered Engineer status (CEng, IMechE), I offer a depth of expertise and a proven commitment to excellence in professional engineering services. This section includes details of these qualifications.
M.Eng
Master of Engineering
Open University post-graduate degree awarded in 2015.
Highlights include a distinction in the Forensic Engineering module and one of very few merits awarded for the Team Engineering module. This was also the basis for the Postcode Lotteries Green Challenge scholarship.
MBA
Master of Business Administration
(Technology Management)
Open University post graduate degree awarded in 2019.
Highlights include a merit in corporate finance. The final year MBA project involved working alongside Wood Group's engineering manager in Staines, with the aim of re-introducing a graduate trainee scheme in that office after a six year hiatus.
C.Eng
Engineering Chartership
(IMechE)
Having not come through the conventional graduate training schemes, professional accreditation was an elaborate process, with the final interview and election taking place at the Institution of Mechanical Engineers headquarters in Birdcage Walk in 2018.
B.Eng
Bachelor of Engineering
More than just a re-badging of the B.Sc. (see below), this degree course included five new modules with over 100 credits aligned with the subject requirements of the IMechE.

Bachelor of Science
(First class honours)
Awarde by the Open University in1998, this degree included ten different modules and 420 credits, with distinctions in five subject modules over 5 years. All while working full time.
B.A.
Bachelor of Arts in German and Marketing
And before all that . . . there was my original degree in German and Marketing, which included a gap year split between a retail banking job in Nuremberg and a teaching assistant role in Kreis Offenbach. This was the basis for a fledgling career in media supplies, before engineering lead me down another path.
M.Sc.
Master of Science in Mathematics
As of October 2025 . . . in final year of M.Sc. in Mathematics with the Open University. Modules have included advanced calculus, analytic number theory, fractal geometry, non-linear differential equations, and advanced mathematical methods. Currently engaged in the final year dissertation on the history of modern geometry.
